Emporium Party Shop is part of the Emporium Parties Group.
Emporium Parties was established in 1999 in Kent by Karen & her Husband Mark, with a small retail outlet in Kent. In 2000 they started a childrens entertainment service on the same site, offering girls makeover parties to girls aged 8 - 11yrs.
Due to the immediate success of the entertainments parties and the birth of Karen's second child she invited Vicky a long term friend to join the business and help the company grow.
In 2004 Emporium Parties changed direction and decided to go mobile offering parents all over Kent their entertainment service, increasing the party and age ranges.
Due to the continued success they launced Emporium parties Sussex in 2006 with Karen's brother running the parties in East & West Sussex.
Due to the high volume of requests Karen decided to offer her customers a more complete party service, by launchin Emporium Party shop in 2007.

A Magical Journey was a first for Emporium. Karen, the owner of Emporium, and her colleagues together with her mum Susan Peters, pooled their collective talents in creating an original lively script, beautiful outfits, toe-tapping songs ,artistic scenery and stunning dance routines for a musical extravaganza. With no formal stage production knowledge, Karen and her team managed to put on a fantastic show that was watched by over 300 people and managed to raise in excess of £1,800 for The William Harvey Hospital Padua Children's Ward in Ashford, Kent.
This production involved some 40 children and was supported by The Shepway Volunteer Centre Youth Challenge Project which organises activities for young children.
